So do you all agree with shades and moksha? I thought the varied background made it more interesting. Should it all be the same? I used book antique because I wanted it to look a bit old fashioned, since we're talking about an "ancient" to document.

And would it look better if I divided it in two columns? The shorter pages probably wouldn't need it, but the longer sections are quite dense, which is why I tried to break it up with pictures.

Get rid of that background on the main page!! It is horrible!!

Also, the background on the "terminology" page makes the text hard to read.

Perhaps you could put a div tag around your text with a white background. That way you can still have your background, but you can actually read the text.

Like I said, you can keep the backgrounds, but just put a div tag around your text so that it blocks the background and you can actually read the text.

Although, if I'm being honest here...that main page background makes it look very amateur. Use a background that blends more seamlessly if you must use one.

You always want a low-key background, I think yours is hard on the eyes and draws attention away from the data. I'd recommend an off-white color. If you want mesoamerica picture you currently use I would make it more transparent and put it up once as opposed to tiles. I'd also put the Introduction and table of Contents above the pictures on the front page.

I also think your site would work better with an Arial font.

Okay, now that he Tech Writer in me got out for a while I have to add: Your conclusions about the Book of Mormon are wrong.

Ok, Ok, OKAY!!!! I give. I'll change all my backgrounds to one uniform background. How about the one on Polities and Power? I like it cuz it kind of looks like papyrus. And I'll change to ariel. AND I'll combine the intro and ToC on the home page.

And that hieroglyphics background was SOOO cool!! But I'll trust your judgments. (except on the Book of Mormon conclusions, Nehor)
