On 8/7/2014 President King and his first counselor met with me and Margi for a second time. During this meeting he provided the following conditions for my continued membership in the church:

1. “Publicly renounce and apologize for the false concepts you have widely expressed regarding God, Jesus Christ, the Atonement, the restoration of the Gospel, and the Book of Mormon.

Does he have to apologize for the many times when he was teaching investigators about the Book of Mormon while on his mission?

NOM...mostly was pointing out that you (and those other new posters who showed up) need to stop claiming that you don't have a grudge to settle with [mormonstories]. Its obvious to everyone.

I see what you are saying about the CTW conference.

As far as I know there was only a single new poster.

I can't speak for everyone over there. But you are very mistaken. If there is a grudge over at nom it is not one that is directed at [mormonstories]. If anything there is a grudge toward the moderators and their silly double standards. The coddling and ball tickling they enjoy over there is silly.

But, let's talk about subject.

John has told me he is not going to back down on OW and GM, or discontinue MS. He also says he will not resign. If that happened, it would be deemed as a great betrayal to many advocates, some who have lost much, including family relationships, and jobs because we believed in the possibility of a reformation and in big tent Mormonism. If he does any of those three, or removes content from MS, I'll gladly admit you were correct. John has already made that mistake once. As have i. I don't think he will do it again

this really is not a discussion about whether one group is right about [mormonstories], today, finally, and another group is not. it does not really matter.
