Not at all. A Republican can vote for Trump much in the same way a lot of us voted for Biden (or in the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton). I’ve read quite a few accounts from Republicans who thought Trump was a disaster, but their *insert reason for being a Conservative here* simply wouldn’t allow them to vote for a Democrat, much less Hillary Clinton, Bernie, or now Biden. I think we’re at a point in this country where the American political roofline, as it were, is so pitched on each side that there’s no middle ground, and we also run the risk of falling off the edges into madness. The Left has a very serious cultural Marxism issue that makes it impossible for the Right to want to even get near it, so a fascist populist like Trump will always be a better alternative than voting for a Democrat-cum-socialist (in their minds), even if they have to hold their noses and do it.

edit: I should note that we’re already in WW3, considering most European countries, the US, and various countries around the world have committed to providing materiel and monetary support to Ukraine. The GOP, if they insist on subverting NATO and various alliances throughout the world, will irreparably damage our ability to lead on strategic matters for the foreseeable future. Russia cannot be allowed to reassert its hegemonic dominion over eastern Europe, central Asia, and abroad.

Anyway, in the early 1990's Bush promised Gorby that NATO wouldn't expand and we reneged on that promise, surrounding Russia with NATO. The CIA installed Yeltzin, allowing the rape of Russia in the 1990's and that led to Putin taking over, to stop the bleeding of natural resources and assets to western billionaires. Our government conducted a coup in Ukraine in 2014, backing nazis to do so. Then recently, we pushed Ukraine to join NATO, knowing that this would provoke war.

Recently, the undersecretary of defense gave a presentation saying that Putin doesn't have the ability to move much beyond the territory that he has taken in Ukraine. So, even if he wants to take over Germany and other European countries, expanding Russia back to the pre-1917 era, he simply cannot.
