A much more effective tribute to Grindael would have begun, with a tribute to Grindael.

Brilliant, just brilliant!! You start a thread titled, '"A tribute to Grindael" then the first three words in your post are " these two trolls"! You knew exactly what was going to happen! You and you alone brought this crap to the terrestrial forum. Here are the creative works authored by grin that I transferred to the new archives. While you all were appreciating his Mormon related work, I was drinking in his lyricism. I needed to transfer the work quickly in case the old board became too corrupted to locate them so I transferred as top priority. Each transferred thread contains grin's avatar and all of his imagery and ends with my favorite image of grindael. There's a fourth thread that remains unfinished but only because I needed permission from someone else about a certain issue which took a while for me to get and then, I guess, the pandemic took my attention.

Really??? Here's what I don't understand! If you go back and read older post in spirit paradise, you'll see a constant barrage of name calling toward subgenius and Ajax18. Doc cam, schmo and Icarus would team up and constantly call those two conservatives all kinds of names including Nazi, mushroom dick, idiot and so on. Look man, I might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but I'm not stupid enough to go down that path. Ajax and subgenius would post all kinds of information and links to back up what they believe to only get called names constantly. I decided to use a different strategy. Like I said, I had posters contact me to say I was going to be attacked after my "newness" wore off. I don't even want to talk about politics, I have no desire. That's why I post videos, i hate politics. I want to talk about Mormonism and more personal stuff.

Doc can call me a mushroom dick right now and it would not affect me at all. It says more about him than about me.
I have a feeling it all comes down to you, and Doc, and all the others involved in this not learning how to accept that someone on the internet disagrees with them.
Engage with the people who are worth engaging with. Ignore the ones who aren't.

Mike, just a suggestion. Talk about what you want to talk about and ignore the rest. Trust that most folks understand dickish behavior when they see it but also understand that they are not responsible for the behavior of other adults.
Lots of folks post on the Mormon part of the board and never venture into the Not Mormon side. I think of them as entirely different communities of people. So, what happens in Paradise stays in Paradise. Usually.
