I'm pretty sure Argos is Juliann, based on the way he/she went out of her way to ridicule me when I made an abortive return to FAIR. It was Juliann's tone, diction, and MO.

An Update: I finally caved in and took a look at their new board. I know that some think it's "the same," but I am noticing significant differences. For one thing, it just looks much, much more amateurish and less official compared to the old board. It just looks like a few people hashing things around, whereas the old MB, with its disclaimers and links to official, Church-sanctioned sites seemed more "important," both in its appearance, and in the information around the margins. (On a funny sidenote, Nighthawke made an unbelievable stupid post in which she claimed that the disclaimer "This is not necessarily the views of FAIR" actually absolved them of any accountability. LOL! Yeah, despite the fact that S. Gordon and J. Lynch and Allen Wyatt were all regular posters. Great observation, Nighthawke!)

Another thing I noticed was that Orpheus (or what is Chaos?) was threatening to pull the avatar feature. It seems they have descended into Gestapo-style histrionics in a very short time indeed. What's even more funny is that juliann has noticed a "perceptible improvement in tone." LOL!!! Be careful what you wish for, my dear!

Careful there, Moksha.... He prefers to be called "DaddyMO" now, and in fact he threw a massive stink over the fact that I had used his former name. This is all bound up in him getting his feelings hurt by some insensitive poster on another board, who had said, "I hope you don't become a dad of eight," coupled with the fact that there is some hurt underlying his and his wife's inability to have any more children. What happened is that I posted on his dossier that there had been speculation about what he does all day, since A) he spends an inordinate amount of time on FAIR and B) he's got seven kids. So is he looking after the kids? Or spending all his time on FAIR? Needless to say, he was extremely peeved about this, and went on a tirade over it on ZLMB. I went ahead and deleted all references to his old name, and changed the bit about him "sloughing off" his brood onto his wife. All of this came after he accused me of lacking integrity and courage, etc. It also came after he gave me the stereotypical TBM shunning treatment after I was queued at FAIR. I always liked him too, but that shunning showed me another side of him, and basically soured my impression of him as a nice and decent guy.

Also, as far as I know, DCP has not posted on the new board. It would probably be in his best interest to avoid it, but I think he is addicted to the sychophantic adulation and fawning obsequiousness that is directed towards him there.

Why would you expect him to react differently from the stereotypical TBM? That's what he is. Not only that, but you hurt his pride. Hurting a man's pride is worse than almost anything else.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't DaddyMO/Dadof7 unemployed? It seems to me like he was the one who was going to a northern state (which one escapes me) for a job interview and ended up not getting the job (which was okay, because he didn't really like the town anyway). If he's unemployed and most of his kids are in school, it's likely he'd have considerable time to be on the internet without significantly impacting his family. And he's already sensitive about not working, so your comments probably struck a nerve.

Just as an FYI, DaddyMO recently got a new job, so he will likely be online much less. All of my dealings with him have been positive; we're fairly good "email buddies". I'm happy for him.

I've always thought he was one of the good ones, though we've locked horns a couple of times. Back when I was an apologist, we were "email buddies," as you say.
