What is up with the panic? Tal shows up and he's trying to "sink" the board. His presence will be the downfall of the board? Daniel "I think his arrival here is likely to damage this message board. "
Please, people, get a grip!
Anyone notice the preemptive prophetical innuendo in the comments by folks in that thread?

What I want to know is: is Tal not satisfied with this board in some way? It seems like he was getting a little dig in at us, with his arrival on their board and suggestions of interviews.
So... we just aren't good enough for Mr Tal?
I tried it out on another discussion board about Mormonism, but unfortunately there just aren't that many people on that one. So here it is for all my new MA&D buds (stay tuned for the sleepover invitation):

harm,
I don't see it that way at all. I understood his comments to mean that there weren't many TBM's to interview here. Am I mistaken or haven't all of his interviews been with TBM's on this board?

I thought it just meant that there weren't many LDS apologists here. He seems to have exhausted most of them over here with interviews and went looking for new people.

Um....Tal Bachman is now being accused of trolling the MAD board by Orpheus whom, unless I am mistaken, told him to enter a specific thread and he has. The thread in question appears to be about a podcast that Tal either made or participated in. He has entered the thread as directed and now he's being accused of lack of substance or some such thing...and the topic of the thread are his comments on the podcast.
I'm confused...
Having said that, I give it less than 48 hours before he's banned entirely.

Hi Jersey Girl,
The Moderators logic on the MA&D Board over there hardly makes any sense at all. Here is what the Moderator named 'Skylla' wrote over there:
The Moderator there forgot to mention that special treatment over there is reserved for the LDS Apologist Daniel C. Peterson, and a few other of the high Profile LDS Apologists there. The LDS Apologist Daniel C. Peterson has started what can be termed 'Personal Threads' over there, yet he does not get reprimanded by any of the moderators there. The Moderators do their best their to make sure that Daniel C. Peterson gets all the special protection and special treatment that they think he needs over there. Anyway, Tal Bachman member status is now 'Members Ltd.', which means he cannot start anymore more new Discussion Threads anymore over there.

Skylla:
Mr. Bachman,
If you're going to post here in Dialogue and Discussion, you'll have to start regular threads like everyone else. No interviews, no threads limited to four people, and don't expect special treatment. This board is not anyone's personal platform.

Brackite, you say: Anyway, Tal Bachman member status is now 'Members Ltd.', which means he cannot start anymore more new Discussion Threads anymore over there.
I'm not familiar with "Members Ltd." status. He can't start anymore threads at all? Ever? Is there a place on the board where it describes these statuses and their meanings?
