He's giving an opinion based on his own experiences. Why is that such a big deal? Is it true for you? If the answer is now, then learn to blow it off. If the answer is yes, then give it some consideration.

Given his history, he's given me no reason at all to think he's doing anything other than try to get under my skin. It's the SOP of anti-Mormons to try to appear as if they know what's going inside the heads of Mormons.

More than likely, depending on how you spin it, your bishop and/or SP would find this behavior to be a nono, potentially exposing you to the peep stone that broke the pedophiles back.
by the way, how many people did you give a temple recommend to also gave up a sizable portion of their income just so they could travel to the temple and play dress up?

No. They know about it and they could care less. Y'know, missionaries deal with enemies of the church every day. They even have to have discussions with them. Gasp!

Just ten percent. The only person who was put out by it (almost all of the guy's wages were garnished to pay for medical expenses, but we got him a good job and he was able to pay tithing) was given a month's worth of food. We have a tendency to look out for people in our church.
