I understand your motives on posting this publicly. But, honestly, did you really expect to be able to post this without triggering curiosity and comment?

I thought it would be enough to settle the matter in the minds of others and folks would respect that it was posted to right a wrong.

I must say I'm curious as to why this is being revisited nearly 2 months after the last post on the thread and the deletion of the OP. Whaddup?

I deleted my OP because it was turning into yet another circus.

How do you figure? You apologized to Kerry for believing that he was somehow involved in the Itchy debacle. (Why that merits an apology is rather beyond me, I'm afraid.) People lauded you for having the gumption to make the apology.

What seems odd to me is that elsewhere, you claimed that you are in possession of an actual copy of the Mr. Itchy blog, which you say you kept in order to exonerate Kerry... (Your exact phrase, as I recall, was, "I was looking for a friend.") Perhaps it's just me, but I find it odd that one would "go looking for a friend" in a blog which, on the other hand, you were so opposed to...

Really, I must appeal to the even-mindedness of Beastie here. She rightly pointed out that people would be curious about this, and, well, I'm quite curious. I'm not sure why you thought deleting your post would "end the circus," as it were. If anything, it just raises more suspicions.

I may be misreading you here, but it sounds like you're saying that you are somehow embarrassed about what you wrote... What "circus" are you alluding to anyway?
