Man of God / Son of Thunder
Dug out my copy of OPR: MoG/SoT. There is no mention of Bonita anywhere other than the dedication page. I don't know where I got the impression that it was her that wrote it (nor why that book website has a dual billing for author).
I was wrong... you may now stone me (or perhaps I will stone myself).
*sigh*
Livingstone22,
In Dewey's biography, he provides substantial evidence that Rockwell was elswhere when the attempt was made. OPR shot at a lot of people (and killed most [if not all]) of those who found themselves at the wrong end of his gun. But, I don't think Boggs was one of them.

No worries about Benita/Bonita...
Doesn't Schlinder also feel the Bogg's assasination attempt is inconclusive?
My Dad has a story about hearing Juanita Brooks go after Hal--being absolutely furious and calling him a damn liar---about crediting Rockwell with a particular murder. Now I can't remember which one...(also my dad has been known to misremember). If I talk to him today for Father's Day (I've made several calls to Utah already: he's probably golfing with my brother all day), I'll ask...

I think that photo of Coffee should be Exhibit A in the case against an invasion of America. Seriously who'd want to try to dominate that dude (and the thousands of other heavily armed individuals like him)?

Sounds like you're issuing a challenge?
Seriously, though, I'm pleased with everyone who posted a real photo (yes, I'm pleased with myself : )
I encourage this trend. Possibly down in the rec room (the Old Testament basement)...

What do we look like
Some information on people's backgrounds and so forth
Check out that second one and you'll see where my ackward crush on Beastie comes from.....and my very awkward crush on Brian Inks comes from ;)

Ya know, I think that was part of what the founding fathers had in mind when they thought up the Second Amendment. Thought I'd probably find it utterly hilarious if some poor hapless batch of bastard nations actually tried to invade the US...
Show those pansies in Thirdworldistan (Iraq, Afganistan, most of subsharan africa...) what REAL insurgency/low-intensity warfare looks like.
Man, now I want to go watch Red Dawn for some reason.

Given recent evidence showing that I have a propensity for incorrect recollection, take this for what it's worth:

Only on days that I wake up with a massive hangover... And that only lasts untill after morning PT and a mug of coffee.
Also, Mullets are right out. Besides looking completely stupid they're also unsat according to the regs (yeah, I still maintain USMC standards for personal grooming. I haven't worn a beard since I was in high school...).
