Keep in mind that Merc and PP are nothing but provocateurs, not serious interlocutors. I have never seen either make a serious, intellectually substantive statement on anything.
Both clearly are in need of parental guidance while negotiating the real world, at least, that's what one would have to conclude given the attitudes and beliefs they have consistently expressed in their postings.
The endless and exaggerated need to be shocking, obnoxious, and offensive is essentially adolescent in nature, and bespeaks the central lack of maturity that imbues both.

Oh I forgot how upstanding and cordial you are. You hate me because I reflect your lie. I am as serious as you are. This is the reason you illuminate the obvious.

I'm going to make a wild guess - neither you nor mercury are related to, or personally know, any individuals who are actually mentally handicapped.
I have bitten my tongue several times in the past, but I am sick to death of this particular piece of verbal pollution that some of you just cannot seem to resist. If you must engage in such antics, at least go do it on the telestial forum.
Should I have said, "It arouses me"?
My expressions of getting an erection from anti-mormonism is no different than Coggy or Gazzy saying they felt a burning in the bosom.

"Boner" doesn't bother me. Using the term "retarded" as a pejorative DOES. The first few times it happened, I ignored it, but it seems to be becoming a habit.
We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

When people use the term retarded it is not intended as a jab at mentally handicapped people. The few people that I know who have metally retarded children prefer the term mentally handicapped instead of RETARDED.
Please remember to get up out of bed on the side opposite of the wall. It makes a better start on the day.

Since when has a 16 year old boy been considered a MAN?

That's precisely the question you should be asking Mercury. Now, close your new issue of Hustler's Barely Legal and compose another one of your intellectually stimulating and beguiling posts tackling this burning issue for us.

Dialoguing can help one see the world clearer but it can also allow others to obfuscate your world view. Each individual or faction has an agenda and if your rights as a human being aren't included in that agenda, I doubt what this group says will be of much value to you.
Wade I think you have a point and for the life of me I cannot understand why I have the desire to come here, yet I do. Sometimes I like to go to MAD after I've had more than I can understand or tolerate in Church but the vicious circle that ensues can be mentally crippling, yet the alternative is to try to block it all out entirely, and that is a truly boring way to have to sit through church.
Why do I seek validation in my own philosophies from people who don't know or care? Why can't I just be comfortable in my own beliefs without desiring to share them with people who would rather not hear it? I just don't know. I wish I did. I think it would help my peace of mind to break the habit.
Maybe it's just more fun to argue than to be doing what I should be doing? Sometimes it's entertaining to see and document just how ridiculous some people's view of fairness and justice can be. I don't know.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
