UE,
Have you visited the actual website?
Have you read anything that the women expressed or have you just looked at the pictures from the link in the OP?

Here's the website:
http://mormonwomenbare.com/

Take some time to read the reasons why Katrina Anderson started this site and why others are participating.
Then see if you recognize yourself.

I visited it once briefly the first time I heard about it. And my instant impression was that this site is taking advantage of a weakness that some women have to assert themselves, while bolstering themselves against their insecurities. I don't have any objection at all about insecure women finding healthy ways to achieve self-affirmation. But this is not the way to go about it. I'm not likely to be convinced by anything the women themselves have to say about their good reasons. This is perverse....

Mr. Ed..., did you get your great wisdom from Wilbur?

After viewing the site, did you masturbate? View additional pornography? Become sexually aroused?

Or are you different than all the other dirty old men that would view a site like this?

It takes a special kind of ass to say this "I'm not likely to be convinced by anything the women themselves have to say".

Is this the most dickish thing ever said at MDD?

It's right up there in the top 10.

I'm starting to believe that Uncle Ed is quite possibly not serious and is just here to post outrageous, ridiculous statements.

I think that any woman who would submit to the temptation to pose nude in order to raise the middle finger to her religion, especially its men, is a victim of messed up thinking. I don't know how they got that way. The world is a screwy place of messed up thinking everywhere. There is clearly a dichotomy at work in the mind of someone who would want to do this. I hope that they don't pay too big a price for displaying themselves in a way that clearly is dangerous to their reputations, since the Net and such expressions are naturally going to be mistaken for something else. People are not careful enough by half....

Do you think a woman who deliberately walked in front of the Kings racehorse to raise the middle finger at the Aristocracy because women didn't have the vote (dying in the process) had messed up thinking?

Yeah, best keep their feelings on the Church's cultural oppression of women secret for fear that someone might think bad of them.
That said, with the Book of Mormon, we are not dealing with a civilization with no written record. What we are dealing with is a written record with no civilization. (Runtu, Feb 2015)
