But you’re contradicting your own stated purpose. You said you wanted to disengage and save posting time. The most effective way to achieve that is to simply stop engaging. End of. So this is more to do with your need for attention. Hence why you started this thread. To draw attention.
Number 2...There may have been a few instances where there may have been a poster that posted between me and a previous post I was not interested in continuing or feeding into. Sometimes posters might interject something before I respond to another poster and I may simply tack on the 'TTOC' to the latest post. I'll make a point of being more precise in order to alleviate your concern.
Nah, you just rudely butted in so people would notice you.
Why not just stop responding? Why the need to draw attention by saying that you’re going to stop responding?
Why the need to announce TTOC within conversations and discussions that you’re not a part of (which you’ve already done)? That’s like going up to a group at a party who are already engaged in a conversation and just rudely butting in with “I’m not interested in this discussion”. I mean, what type of person does that?
It's a way of saying "Don't think that the fact I don't reply to the claims made in this thread shows that I don't have a really effective answer that would skewer all you anti-Mormons. I do - but I just can't be bothered to tell you what it is, and anyway you probably wouldn't understand. So there."
Yes. He wants to feed his own ego by convincing himself he’s had the last word and he was right. He cannot achieve that against the very intelligent and well-read posters on here. So he resorts to his cheap little idea. He can’t resist the passive aggressive little snarks. He loves the attention far too much.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.
Otherwise there might be a few responses of "TTOC"
MG, do you think Jesus will be happy with your decision to use his commandment in an ironic fashion, as the equivalent of flipping the bird to somebody and telling them to go to hell?
Lost Gospel of Thomas 1:8 - And Jesus said, "what about the Pharisees? They did it too! Wherefore, we shall do it even more!"

Not interested. TTOC. Waste of time.

I would suggest that you are accomplishing nothing.

I’ve shown you aren’t prepared to practice what you preach. You have just shown that you don’t say what you mean and you don’t mean what you say. You’ve just rebutted your own OP.

That's not my purpose or rationale. Go back and read the OP.
I would suggest that you are accomplishing nothing.

Not interested in continuing the conversation with you. Say what you will.
Have you tried couples therapy to see if that will help your spouse take you more seriously and give you more attention? Have you talked to your Bishop to see why it is that you’ve never been called to a senior position in the Church? Maybe take all these insecurities that you have to a therapist, they will guide you through understanding what the problem is far more professionally than the advice you get from this board.
Is this board the only place where you feel in any way valued or of worth? Because your behaviour suggests, deep down, it is.
