I never said I wasn’t. But as has been mentioned by another person on this thread A.I. can be very useful and is becoming more and more accurate.
Please provide the quote.
In my previous post to Mantheo I found it quite useful to consolidate a lot of information into a very informative chain of inquiries and answers that I think may be useful in the discussion...
No, it's not. Especially when you don't understand or even fully read what you post.
Specifically, how does Jesus, himself, claim that he was different?
John 10:22-42
22 It was now winter, and Jesus was in Jerusalem at the time of Hanukkah, the Festival of Dedication. 23 He was in the Temple, walking through the section known as Solomon’s Colonnade. 24 The people surrounded him and asked, “How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Messiah, tell us plainly.”
25 Jesus replied, “I have already told you, and you don’t believe me. The proof is the work I do in my Father’s name. 26 But you don’t believe me because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, 29 for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else.[a] No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. 30 The Father and I are one.”
31 Once again the people picked up stones to kill him. 32 Jesus said, “At my Father’s direction I have done many good works. For which one are you going to stone me?”
33 They replied, “We’re stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God.”
34 Jesus replied, “It is written in your own Scriptures that God said to certain leaders of the people, ‘I say, you are gods!’[c] 35 And you know that the Scriptures cannot be altered. So if those people who received God’s message were called ‘gods,’ 36 why do you call it blasphemy when I say, ‘I am the Son of God’? After all, the Father set me apart and sent me into the world. 37 Don’t believe me unless I carry out my Father’s work. 38 But if I do his work, believe in the evidence of the miraculous works I have done, even if you don’t believe me. Then you will know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father.”
39 Once again they tried to arrest him, but he got away and left them. 40 He went beyond the Jordan River near the place where John was first baptizing and stayed there a while. 41 And many followed him. “John didn’t perform miraculous signs,” they remarked to one another, “but everything he said about this man has come true.” 42 And many who were there believed in Jesus.
John was the forerunner of Christ. It is interesting that John’s disciples came to Jesus and asked him to teach them how to pray even though they had been taught by John. The first thing Jesus does is to instruct them to pray by addressing their Father in Heaven. We don’t know what words John used when he prayed but it might be significant that when his disciples went to Jesus that they were specifically told to address deity as their Father in Heaven.

So you said nobody had taught people to pray, I picked an example (out of many) that showed people had done just that, and now you’re shifting track to something about what words Jesus supposedly used being significant? What’s next, the unique type of sandals he wore?
Instead of trying to assert things that you haven’t really researched, why don’t you ask questions or actually read people’s responses and think about how those answers might inform your view and opinions. Instead of blindly grasping at new straw after new straw once your original point has been shown to be completely wrong.
The one thing you should have learnt by now is that whatever you come here and assert, there’s a very high probability you’re wrong and that people here know enough to show you that.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.
He’s descended into farce. He’s not even thinking through or fact checking what he’s saying before he posts it.

This is an interesting response. For all of the lurkers and others that read this forum without having much to say, look carefully at what this guy is saying. Read between the lines.
Arrogance, hubris, and sidetracking manifestly and flagrantly exposed.

I suspect the people lurking (that aren’t bots) are a bit brighter than you credit them with being. But carry on. You’re doing a much better job of discrediting the Church than any critic ever could.

Morley, knowing that you are one of those folks IHAQ is describing, would you help me out? All of these other ‘sons of gods’. Are there examples of these folks way back when addressing their Father in Heaven in prayer and teaching others how to do so?
I’m not saying that there may not have been some that did…but could you go into a bit of detail and demonstrate this to be so?
An example of a son of god praying to and addressing his Heavenly Father. As it is, this seems like the supreme act of humility.

Or you could do your own research, for a change. But I suspect you are seeking to describe Jesus in as specific a way as possible so as to rule out any and all other possible answers. You’ve started with a conclusion (Jesus was uniquely special) and you’re just looking for ways to confirm that, while ignoring or reframing other evidence (such as the John The Baptist example).
This path you’re on, left unchecked, could easily see you demanding to know if there were any other examples where someone with sandals, who lived in Galilee, between 1BC and 30AD, who’s mother was called Mary, who claimed to be the Son of God? Then claim Jesus was unique because no one else fits the convoluted criteria you’ve contrived to confirm your preconceived conclusion.
