Unfortunately I think Dead Goat is now a topless bar. The church tried hard to fight it.

I've literally had some of the best nights of my life listenin' to blues at the Goat.

by the way, I second Moksha's suggesion of La Cailles. It's gorgeous.

Well, that was a smart decision! I saw what you wrote and was planning to put the smack down on you for ending this very congenial thread on such a sour note! Just a few more questions and I'll let this float to the bottom of the pool.

No one has answered my question about the rubber stamp/scrapbooking companies in Provo. I wanted specifically to know if there were outlets for those companies there.

Thanks to all who recommended great restaurants and harmony, now I want to change my screen name to Sweet Tomatoes! I'm so not kidding! I'm definitely going to find that restaurant!

Ok Misery, I'll concur. Yes Jersey would make a good Mormon.

Wow, I'm agreeing with Misery on a topic, and I don't even drink. : p

I am shocked to say the least...but you will probably make her mad.....and what's his name James Bond 007....but she would make a good Mormon. Not to many bad habits that she would have to give up and she actually wants to visit the Temple and all that.....I don't THAT much...I am just able to enjoy a drink every now and then....and I do mean every now and then....

edited out worldly remark.

I saw the IKEA commercial today. I'm soooo jealous that you are going to UT. Please go meet my friends, have fun, take lots of pictures, etc.

I'm going either in late Spring (after it opens) or early summer mainly for furniture. The shipping on IKEA furniture is astronomical or at least I think so. The stuff comes packed flat so I can fit quite alot I think, in the back of an SUV. This past summer while back East I visited the IKEA store in Jersey and thought it was fantastic. Whatever you see in the catalogs or online is not even close to what is in the warehouse stores. It's simply amazing!

The furniture itself is not the highest quality you could imagine but the prices are so affordable you could outfit a room or whatever for far less than other furniture stores. The couches are very uncomfortable! Don't order any!

Misery stated in another post that Utah is behind the times. I will have an opportunity to visit Utah this Spring (yes, the Ikea store in Draper, like that's your business). What do I need to know about visiting Utah? Do's / Don'ts?
