Loran, your obsession with me is becoming embarrassing. That's twice in one thread, a thread dedicated to another fine poster on this board, that you've dragged me into a conversation where I was not a participant and not the subject. You're edging closer and closer to the borderline between interested and obsessed. Back away from the edge, Loran. Harmony is not an object for obsessed fantasy.

There's no obsession at all. I just think you're a fraud, like Scratch, your phony Temple recommend and all your other Mormon "credentials" included in that designation. And I'm not the only one, as you know, who has noted your lack of basic doctrinal understanding.
The face of sin today often wears the mask of tolerance.

Ray,

Tell me in one or two sentences why anyone on this board should give a hot damn in hell who Scratch is?

Pour another one, Jersey Girl. I gave ample reasons previously. You're still fun to post with. You come up with the most original points of view.

I'm not wading through this entire thread, Ray. If you choose to decline to answer, so be it.

I do, however, think that Scratch has a good heart,

I don't think Mr. Scratch is all bad. I vehemently disagree with him politically on quite possibly every issue. Hopefully in the next life we can have separate worlds and each be free to run them the way we choose.

and is trying to find answers to things that conflict him like many of the rest of us are.

Now this part I can't quite agree with. I think that is what concerns people about Mr. Scratch. He's very good at tearing down Mormonism but I haven't really seen a proposal on how to fix things, let alone any answers to the existential questions that seemed to get us into this mess, whether it was our parents who sought them or we ourselves. To me what Scratch's beliefs are on the afterlife, prophets, whether we even need a Church or not, are very pertinent but I don't see him offering that kind of stuff. I don't care what his real name is.

It sounds very similar to the Democrats on the Iraq issue. All they can really do is tear down and blame President Bush, which is really their ultimate objective anyway. They don't have any better ideas and things are going to stay exactly the same, which will be demonstrated when they get control of the executive and legislative branches this coming year. But I guess Scratch is a Democrat.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

And I say Amen to these observations.

On the contrary, I've seen him offer several suggestions on how to fix things. His suggestions get as far as mine do. We could start fixing things by opening the financials for any member to see. That would definitely be a step in the right direction.

Ray,

Why aren't you jumping up and down demanding to know the identity of the Z trolls?

I haven't posted, nor even read Z. in four years, except when beastie and Ben McGuire were debating. I would not a clue what goes on there now, nor the "politics" of the board.

Of course you don't have a clue, even though it's been explained to you on this very board. The Z trolls preceeded Mr. Itchy. They were well known TBM posters who used "sock puppets" to post on Z ala Itchy before the Itchy board went up.

I know who at least two of them were, which is why I find it laugahble to see you demanding to know Scratch's identity like you are here.
