Of course, the other consideration is the acquisition of the appropriate entheogen. I once smoked some Salvia Divinorum by myself and I started to experience some interesting sensations but I shut the whole thing down because I started to get spooked. I was alone and I had never smoked anything (because I was a good Mormon) before, much less an entheogen. I have a friend who has expressed a willingness to have this experience with me, so I'll have to set up some kind of camping trip.

Then I will return and report.

I have no idea where to go now a days to find LSD, and you might be better off finding mushrooms instead. Back when I did LSD, it was much easier to find. Almost the whole country was supplied by one manufacturer of the stuff, but the two individuals making it got busted after years of making it. I have been told that it is possible still to find it, but I wouldn't know where to begin, more so because I have been a good practicing Mormon for too many years and am "out of the loop". I can tell you that many times what I did purchase would end up being fake LSD, and would do nothing, save it be extract some money from my pocket. Many times when going to Phish shows I would buy LSD from random people, and many times the stuff was not real then, but more times than not it was legit.

It is also good to judge the "vibe" that people give you. If the vibe is not good, then the trip will not be either. You need to be 100% comfortable and ready; don't rush such a thing. Tis better to have never touched the stuff than to rush into it half hearted. If you have no "hippie friends" you are comfortable with, then this may not be a good path at this point for you to walk.

Cold welcome? I wouldn't know anything about that. I can say that the way I have seen ex-mos and non-mos treated on MAD, no wonder there are other boards like this whereby the discussion is more open. I just hope this board is more like an open discussion than a flame board. Online flaming can be entertaining, but pointless and a waste of time, honestly. I enjoy good discussion and debate.

Well I'm glad you felt that you didn't get a cold welcome.

Enjoy your stay! :)
