1. True believers who want to support and defend. They almost always ill-educated and shallowly-read.
2. Academics who waste their time and their employer's money spending time in posts defending the Church. But, they have the intellectual horses to do so and contribute occasionally.
3. The witty and urbane, who post merely to see their witticisms rather than contribute anything.
4. The smug, the self-righteous.
5. The dilettante, the accomplished in some profession or field, who contributes, but who is an amateur in academics. I frankly cannot see why such a person would spend any time on a board like this, but they do.
6. The mean, the malicious, the combatant.

This brought a smile to my face as I thought of people from MAD to plug into these various categories.
You're not related to that dweeb I "dated" in high school are you? One of only three dates I had then, by the way.
Probably not (if he was a dweeb...)
Hast thou any kin in SLC with the same last name?
Currently, I think my brother (and his wife/kids) is the only kin in SLC area with that particular family name. I might have a cousin who is up there also, but I think he recently moved. The majority of my family that is in Utah is of the Johnson camp (not those kooky Broughs).
I thought it was unusual enough a name, but I'm just as happy to believe there's no connection.

That's my dad.

I post here because it helps with my low self-esteem. I'm 35 and I still live in my parents' basment. I didn't graduate high school, but got my GED a few years ago. You, my fellow posters, are my only contact with the real world. I post anonymously because I am a hyprocite...a weak-kneed, spineless liar. I am a sinner. I stopped believing in the church (even though deep down I know it's true) because I wanted to drink alcohol, smoke pot, and masturbate. I like to eat Cheetos until my fingers turn orange. I smear my greasy, orange fingers on clean, white surfaces. I put tape on my cat's feet. I scream at babies. I listen to filthy music, like The 2 Live Crew and Too $hort. I'm looking forward to the day when I will be able to obtain the posting status and respect of the greats: Wade, Crockett, and Peterson.

Congratulations on getting your GED! I have several friends who have done the same thing. Bravo!

You forgot that you weigh 500 lbs and can't move under your own power.
