Otherwise, as I’ve said, we’re just going around in circles to little or no avail. We have different worldviews as we look at the bigger picture and the world of the prophets.
So be it.
Funny thing is, I’m the one who shows up to church on Sunday.
You folks really do have a very narrow way of viewing the world of the prophets. Albeit it fits right in with the agnostic/atheistic stance that you, by all means necessary, need to protect and uphold.

The irony.
Carry on. Back later.

If you refer to anything, please make it official church-published information that can be seen to constitute doctrine. Apologists can and do say all sorts of things that the church is not bound by in any way.
Your attendance or not at church is irrelevant, unless you can guarantee that it means that you provide only doctrine, and not the philosophies of men mingled with scripture. I've heard some pretty strange things when I attended church on Sundays, and I suspect I'm not alone in that.

What is the church doctrine on the flood? Not your doctrine. Not Lindsey's. Not Fair's. The Church's!
No one is interesting in discussing what MG believes. Nor FAIR's weasel words. Not even Lindsey's. We're discussing what the Church actually teaches.
I think mg has a point. The last time a Mormon leader implies a worldwide flood was in 2007 and the last time Noah's flood is mentioned in general conference was in 2010. It is possible some Mormon leaders are slowly trying to abandon Noah's worldwide flood. But I don't really care.

"I have the type of (REAL) job where I can choose how to spend my time," says Marcus.
When it comes to things like evolution/flood and other scientifically related areas the church generally has no stated doctrinal position although members and leaders have expressed their opinions.
What is a doctrinal position? Is gambling a sin?
