Nope, didn't get one of those. I got a curt letter stating my name had been removed after I sent my request to SLC, got the "this is an ecclesiastical matter" letter, and waited the 30 days for the bishop to sit on my request.

The quickest answers I ever get in the mail for anything, usually say a week to ten business days. However, I remember the time when there was a printed caveat on orders of four to six weeks for delivery. Of course, the folks of the Old Testament had to wait much longer for their deliverance.

GIMR, how are you feeling now? Still improving and getting skinnier all the time?

((((((Mok)))))) What would we do without your sense of humor?

Improving, though feeling a bit stir-crazy. Hopefully getting skinnier, the scale says otherwise, but it always fluctuates.

Just waiting to go back to work now...

Maggie's "Seeker's Heart"

Post by _jayneedoe »

For those who question Maggie's sincerity, I want to say that I, a die-hard atheist, was so moved as I watched her sincerely struggle with her Mormon testimony, which WAS strong when she first arrived at MAD, that I actually sent her a PM about how I admired her "seeker's heart."

This is something I never do! That's how impressed I was with Maggie.

Jaynee

P.S. Maggie, if you read this, it was under a different name...please don't tell!

I agree. I've followed MaggietheformerMo's posts over there somewhat and she sounds really sincere about trying to find whatever she's looking for spiritually. I for one will wish her luck in her search.

I don't feel so sweet....

Post by _Selah »

Ahhh... in the last 24 hours MADB has driven me absolutly insane! I've written two new blogs about it and I just feel so overwhelmed over there. I made the comment in my latest blog they are the best kept anti-Mormon secret today - which I've been saying in real life for a while now. But out of respect, have kept it to close friends and my husband - but now I'm just so upset! What is up with them over there!!!!

/rant.

Thanks for listening guys.

My dear, what did Whitney say? Crack is whack. There are those who just cannot handle opposition of any kind, and they respond to it by irrational behavior and character assassination.

It took me months to get the crap off my spirit they piled on over there. Luckily for me, fertilizer is good for growing things, so while I was scraping it off my sense of self, some good things in the form of a stronger me were growing underneath.

Don't let them get to ya. They just want you to wear the straighjacket too.

It appears so. I believe I just might have been banned. I cannot believe this. And looking over the discussions - other posters like Garden Girl and her clique and completly LYING about what I have said in past threads and I cannot even defend myself. Oh why?!!?!?!
