Very nice! The idol worshippers of Paganism. The sexual references are in relation to the sexual practices of Paganism. They are not homosexuals. They are largely heterosexuals engaging in various forms of idolatry including religious sexual rituals such as temple orgies, temple prostitution, etc. Pagan worship.

Yes, I see what your saying, but in vs. 21 and 32 it states that these people he is speaking of are those who knew and understood the gospel, but chased after idols and other things anyway.
Also, the topic at hand was Gods views concerning Homosexuality, and these scriptures clearly state this Apostle of the Lords testimony regarding the matter.

Yes, believers reverting to idolatry. Do you believe that homosexuals are engaging in idolatry for the purpose of religious worship?

I would like you to notice that I've not stated anywhere on this board an opinion for or against same sex relationships. When I read Romans, as you supplied it, I have to wonder about whether or not the same sex relationships that we see today are on par with those reported and condemned in scripture. If you pull out Leviticus for example, the references that you'd use refer to Baalism. I know that there are same sex relationships that are not based on love. But do you think there are some that are?
Thanks for indulging the questioning!

No, but they have given themselves up to vile affections. uncleaness through the lusts of their own hearts, dishonouring their own bodies between themselves.

But that's not all that's mentioned there. Look at this:
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
It lists all sorts of things.

Wow, Gaz. Jersey Girl has just proven my point for me: you really don't understand the scriptures that you read. ; )
Actually besides homosexuality there were all sorts of vile sexual practises that went on in the idolatrous temples, including having sex with the idols,a nd sacrificeing the offspring of the orgies to the idols.
Homosexuality is only slightly more vile than any other sexual practice outside the bonds of marriage. So whatever part of the Bible you want to pick from, sin is sin. The only diffeence between then and now is that people can IM, PM, EM, and Video share theirt filth. Although I'm sure scratching out porn images on a rock was thrilling as well.

That may be a bit much. She is tough---there's no question about that. But then, my experience has been that the vast majority of girls from Jersey are, indeed, quite tough. (In the best possible ways, of course.)
