Then why did you chuckle at it?
I have already explained that. Work it out for yourself.

Kish,

I’d love to see a coffee with Kish where you go into detail about the differences in your position and your opponents positions. I think that would do a lot to remove what I’m seeing as a lot of misunderstanding between everyone in the thread.

Maybe they can Skype in?

Thanks, drumdude. You may be right, but I have the feeling that there are other problems percolating under the surface that people are not being open about. Frankly, I find some of the reactions to these videos bizarrely overblown. I have been contacted out of the blue by friends who are watching this, and they are as confused as I am.

It would take a lot of time to produce those videos. Maybe at some point I will invite guests on to speak for themselves to their satisfaction. That would probably be a lot easier.

Our religion brings out a lot of emotion and interest. Trey Parker and Matt Stone know. I don't know, it's hard getting out there in public. I've been getting up in front of audiences for more than 20 years and still get butterflies at times. It takes a thick skin and I understand why even Joe Rogan says he tries to stay away from the comments section and social media. I think you have a lot to say and are just starting and should be congratulated for getting out there. I don't always agree with you but whatever. Keep it up.

ETA: I think you're doing a great job and look forward to your collaboration with RFM in the future.

Myth is misused by the powerful to subjugate the masses all too often.

Maybe they're confusing your expression of your opinion with an invalidation of their own opinion?

Thanks, Dr Exiled. Right now I look at this as practice by doing. Even biting criticism is something to learn from, if only how to take it.

Could be! Or they just want me to do this how they want it done? In other words, they have their own idea of what I should be doing. I am trying to appeal to a broad range of casually interested people and that doesn’t work if I take an overly detailed or partisan approach, I think.

Yeah, exactly. Sorry I missed your edit. Something like Skyping in might work.

There's a saying in video game development that I think applies universally - "A video game made for everyone is a video game made for no one."

I think finding your niche is an important part of success, especially on Youtube.

I worry about that. I am hoping that my niche is people who are intrigued by Mormonism but have no interest in joining.
