born and raised mo. At the ripe old age of about 15, I decided it was b***s***. I started to see the business side of LDS, Inc. and didn't like it one bit. If I paid a full 10% many things were forgiven. We were a little poor and us kids had to do without too many things while the church got a full tithe regardless of the amount of food in our house. We were blessed. RIGHT!!!

However doing the genealogy, we were mo royalty complete with polygamous relatives. We were really blessed!

Then the other things. Asking me if I masturbated? Leave me alone you old perv!

Same story that has been told by many. When I could break free of the family about 18, I was out and never went back. I am the only black sheep on either side for 2 generations. Wow, did I screw up a good record!

Now, I am nothing. If God exists, he doesn't act very Godlike. in my opinion.

Can't answer for the rest, but at least on the page your question is on I believe you are the only Mormon.
I am Atheist/Agnostic or Secular Humanist which ever you prefer. I really don't put much into titles. In fact, I really may be more of an Agnostic, in that I can somewhat believe there could be a grand creator of all that lives, but that's where it ends for me, if he/she/it has plans for us we'll have to wait and see.
All the other stories are in my mind just that, stories and fairytails created by man.

I go with the Spock motto "Live well and Prosper"

hey all, another one has arrived so roll out the cot cause I'll be staying a while. Max, Julie, thanks for the invite and reminder to check out the forum. I haven't read anything yet except this thread but I will say this site looks interesting. I hope I don't get many PMs telling me to f*** off and die like I recieved yesterday from a fellow named Danse. Forums are kind of cool, maybe a bit of a waste of time but I always feel like there is something to learn from anonymous people even if it turns into childish bickering. you still learn something.

now I have to go make sweet love to my ex-mormon wife with the lights on.

I baught a new book at Barnes And Noble called Jesus' Family Tomb or something like that just getting started with it has anyone else read it? It is a Controversial Book like Davinci Code so we will see how it is. No matter what it says in it My Faith will not be shaken. These people are just giving a theory of their Findings.
