Hmmmm, I doubt it. You don't seem to understand it now. What makes you think you would have 50 years ago?

Hope this helps. Thanks, -Some Schmo-

Yes...that is very much along the lines of what I used to say back in junior high when the adults weren't "entertained" by my juvenile antics. To the teen mind, it is all about not being understood.

I hope you will forgive me, though, if I do to you like the adults often did to me back when I was in junior high, and leave you alone to "mess" with yourself and your "peers", and let you have the last word.

And, if it is of any consolation, from past experience I have found that Scratch is often up for a couple of rounds of "I know you are...but what am I?" He typically engages in it on his own since no one is inclined to go there with him--I certainly have no interest in doing so. Perhaps the two of you can get together and "entertain" each other. And, if you can find a way to textually make the same sound as a hand being compressed under the arm pit, that might keep the two of you rolling on the floor with laughter for hours.

When did I ever do this, Wade? From the outset, the very first time I interacted with you on KG's board, you were pulling this "mirroring technique" baloney, claiming that you were worthy of instructing me on various topics. You never apologized for that crap (which, let's face it, is pretty sophomoric), nor have you apologized for your also juvenile, stereotypically TBM shunning. Seriously: what kind of example do you think you're setting?

He typically engages in it on his own since no one is inclined to go there with him--I certainly have no interest in doing so.

That's because you are weak.

Right. And once your integrity and intentions begin to seem just a wee bit more honest and realistic than the Easter Bunny, I'm sure you will win over a lot more converts to your "let's focus on the positives!" programme.

OK, so let me get this straight: I'm engaging in, "I know you are but what am I?" but you aren't? You have no interest in going there... Is that what you're claiming? And you're going to let me have the last word, even though you keep responding to my posts? I see.

Let's see... what else? Gotta make sure I have this all straight...

Oh yeah, and it certainly wouldn't be some cheap tactic to claim a form of base superiority over me by condemning (what you clearly and repeatedly demonstrate you don't understand) what I've said as juvenile rather than address it head on? How convenient.

I can't imagine a more juvenile reaction to what I’ve said then the post you just made. (OMG! I essentially just said "I know you are but what am I?" Forget about the fact that it's true! Forget about the fact that he hypocritically continues to engage in the exact same thing! It doesn't matter! I said it! He gets a pass because I just said it! Oooohhhh, the humanity!)

Hmmm... I guess I'm starting to understand why most people around here seem to think you're full of s***. I was actually almost buying into some supposed credibility of your because you’re so damn civil and reasonable.

*stifles juvenile laughter... then makes a farting noise with hand under armpit*

Hey man, I recommend you sign up to be the subject of the next big country and western song. You’re like the epitome of tragic comedy.

Pretty funny man.

Hope this helps.

God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.
