I did notice the quote in your signature line. I've heard good things about the author as well. I vaguely remember talking to him once years ago, I but cannot remember for sure. Mormonism: Shadow or Reality was the final step in my process of leaving Mormonism. One of my regrets is that I neglected to thank the Tanners until after Jerald had passed. I sent Sandra a note afterwards, and hoped to stop by the store some day to thank her in person.
