"You will be safe if you look like, act like and groom like a Latter-day Saint," Packer said.

By and large, he's correct. There is not even a smidgen of control either, that much is obvious. No one is being tied down and forced to dress or act a certain way.

Packer sang: "Root-te-toot, Root-te-toot, we are the boys of the institute, we don't smoke and we don't chew, and we don't go with girls that do."

Reminded me of, "We are the boys from Norfolk. We don't smoke, drink, Nor-folk!"

I think Packer is a lot like 'some' of us here, just another harmless, well intended tenured old-man...

Although, ya gotta give him credit for recognizing that this, and future generations, will make additional improvements to social, and spiritual matters... Evolution, the way "God" works... Warm regards, Roger

By and large, you're incorrect. You don't have to tie someone down and force them to do certain things to have 'control' over them.

You agree with him then. So... what exactly do you mean by "safe"? Does that mean you won't get raped, mugged, assaulted, robbed?

And what exactly do you mean by "act like and groom like a Latter-day Saint"? Are we all supposed to dye our hair blonde, get breast implants, and wear flowered dresses with white collars, pantyhose, and heels?

Most Mormon men would never do this unless it was directly asked of them by a General Authority.

ROTFL. Moksha, I swear... you are the funniest little penquin!

I have a gay office manager, and he wouldn't do this either. So I ask you... why is it expected of Mormon women?

Isn't Rexburg, Idaho plagued with occasional gusts of ice-cold wind? If so, how can the showing of bumps be prevented, since bump-showing is often an involuntary reaction?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Plenty of options:

1) Lots of padding
2) Don't go outside when it's cold
3) Surgery
4) Don't go to Rexburg

I would rather take #4 and just enjoy seeing the "bumps"
