You know, I cannot help but note the irony.... You are deriding me for being critical, and yet here you are engaged in a personal attack?

Edited to add: Ray, think about this for a second. Most, if not all, of the "scrutiny" I place upon DCP/juliann/MAD is a scrutiny of posts and arguments, rather than character... Do you know what I mean? If I begin a thread dealing with, say, "Apologetics by the Numbers," I am principally engaged with discussing that particular document, and the arguments therein. I think you will be hard pressed to find instances where I am actually attacking the character of these people. (Sure, you will probably be able to find an instance or two, but not many). And yet oddly, you seem unwilling to engage any of my actual *arguments*. You sit here, calling me a liar, and a deceiver, and yet where is your evidence? Are you falling into that deep pit of TBM apologist despair, wherein all you can do is launch ad hominem attack, because you have no real evidence?

I'll tell you what, Ray: if you can extract a sincere apology from DCP over his false accusation, I, Mister Scratch, will permanently retire from posting on any and all Mormon-related messageboards.

Scratch, I think we all know that this is not going to happen. I don't know if you lied or not. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt. I also no longer wish to persue digging up or clarifying evidence in either direction as it only makes the situation worse.

Candidly, the whole incident of you vs Dr. Peterson trying to paint the other as deceptive really seems like a bad idea. All it appears to do is escalate ill feelings between the two of you--at least on this issue.
