We hate to seem like we don’t trust every nut with a story, but there’s evidence we can point to, and dance while shouting taunting phrases.

Hyram doesn't deserve a heart attack. It should've ended with him choking on a chunk of hamburger at the Crown Burger, and dozens of Heimlich maneuver attempts failing.

Death wish! Ha. That ought to bump up someone's martyr complex a notch or two...

Re: Apostasy in the Afternoon
I liked that the Hiram character had these lifestyle issues that led to his demise that were as serious as the Glenn character's drinking problem but no one on the inside would see that as a character flaw or take it anywhere near as seriously as alcoholism. And If anger were against the word of wisdom, lol.
Crown Burger as the place of meeting was awesome and really brought back some memories. If ever there was a restaurant that captures the heart of the TBM it's that place and that pastrami piled high is impossible to forget. Next time I'm in Utah, I may have to pay a visit and read this chapter of the story there. My family loves that place.
It was sad to read such a crafted description of a man tripping over himself in rage but I suppose beautiful in the way a natural disaster can be beautiful.
Bobberson has captured the dynamic of the apologetic enterprise.

Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.
LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.

Analytics wrote:Cody Webster had been stacking cases of beer at the State-Line Liquor Store in Evanston Wyoming for over an hour. While others might have found the job tiring, it was invigorating to Cody. He enjoyed being at the liquor store—the huge variety of liquor and beer was tantalizing to contemplate, and he liked the adult environment where people went in preparation for their parties. Not to mention, the clean smelling and climate-controlled enviornment was paradise compared to the work back home at his folks' hog farm

Looking forward to the next installment, even if it ends in the corner of suicide and death.
I want to find out if Hiram Sanderson made a miraculous recovery or whether any new game changing World Forums emerged in the aftermath of the Hinton Affair or if Merlyn Young creates a blog and if so, what does he write about?

I'm a long time lurker who hardly ever posts, but I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed these stories. They are brilliant. Well done Bob.

You mean the pastrami burger is a real thing?
I thought it was an extreme parody!

Yes. It's real. And real good with fry sauce from the big bottles on every table. Only a trillion calories.
