Any idea what “alligators” he referring to?
No clue, I thought it was an odd thing to say. Doesn’t fit in with his usual gripes about us, so it could be some other nefarious force of The Adversary.
A while ago an acquaintance told me about a meeting called for all members of his department at work.

It seemed that there had been a lot of backbiting and rumourmongering going on, and the boss wanted to put a stop to it.

A serious subject to be sure. But here's how the manager's presentation went wrong:
manager wrote:It seems that there have been a lot of allegations being made without facts to back them up.
I just want to say this: These people are in serious trouble, because when I catch the allegators ...
Nobody heard a word he said after that.

 Hey, at Middendorf's Seafood Restaurant on Lake Ponchatrain here in Louisiana yesterday, I had my first alligator sampler. I was like O.K., this is edible. The alligator bites appetizer were actually an interesting flavor, though my wife didn't care for them. I also for the first time had their turtle soup. It wasn't bad either. The stuffed crab was very good as was the thin cut catfish. Their shrimp was also seriously delicious. However, I didn't sit around speaking in French like DCP does on his visits to other places, so I am not quite up to his speed of restauranteur intellect. But I am catching up to him now sampling others' food rather than sticking with the same ole boring hamburgers and french fires for every meal.... :D
