(KSL News) -- Healthy, but not happy. That's how the rankings in an upcoming issue of Self magazine place the Salt Lake-Ogden area.

Out of the top 100 healthiest metropolitan areas, Salt Lake comes in at #37. That includes a third place ranking in "least smoky" and "fewest sunburns."

But despite good health, the area doesn't rank well in good spirits. Salt Lake- Ogden ranks number four in the least happy places for women.

High numbers of suicides and depression contributed to the high ranking.

Wow, I would have never imagined such a thing!

I guess Hinck was wrong again! He loves to blather on about how very happy "our" women are..

Las Vegas is #1, SLC #4 for unhappy.

Fargo, North Dakota have the happiest.

This makes sense. Speaking as a vegas expat I find the attitude towards women to be mysoginistic and "used at the males discression".

Now that really suprises me. I figured San Diego or somewhere warm and close to the ocean would be the #1.
