I'm not sure who "owned" the old board from a financial standpoint.

I would also say that although Dan G is the owner of the new board, that Juliann and Alan have "creative license".

Because he is a third-string apologist and knows it. Even the top dogs such as DCP and Bill Hamblin need the special protection of the moderating team. Were Dan G. to venture out into the deeper critical waters, such as this site or CTR, he would be up the creek without a paddle, so to speak. Thus, knowing that he is basically an ineffectual little wisp of an apologists, he consoles himself by banning people, spewing out false accusations, lying, manipulating posts, etc. In a word, Dan G. is guilty of: hubris.
