Poll to find out some stats. Add clarification comments if you like. Why are you defending or criticising? Why are you neutral, if so.

I am a critic because I see no positive value in Mormonism.

The Spirit testified to me that this is Gods church, that his authority and name rest upon it and in it. I defend it.

Even though I don't comment as aggressively as I once did, I voted "critic". Why? Because I think people are being misled by the church.

Look, a person's sexual orientation should not be the subject of this board.

So far the results are not surprising. I expect there will be between 80%-90% critics here. In other words, FAIR/MAD has a more equal distribution of critic to defender ratio. This board is overwhelmed by critics. No reflection on Shades, because he has said that the posters generate the direction of the board, not the other way around.

Ray, individuals will congregate around where they feel most comfortable. I doubt the ratio at the cognitive dissonance board would be much different. Non believers cannot freely state truths at the loser board. Instead they are bullied by individuals more interested in promoting their marginalized world views.

I made no objection to the ratio. It was the same on the old MDB, though this one seems tamer in some ways. FYI, I voted neutral. Depending on the subject I can be either critic or defender. I have few friends on boards because I refuse to take sides on every point. I'm fine with this, because it means I'm being as objective as I can. by the way, I don't think anyone can be totally objective.
If you will consent to it, Vegas, I would like to interview you. I should do this by PM, but since I'm posting this, thought I'd ask here. My motive is not to ridicule, or interrogate. I'd like to know some more about you without becoming too personal. I will respect your privacy.
