Spoken to a brand new poster named Michelle:
Talk about issues....
I do recall sounding something like that myself, during the first year or so of my apostasy. I wanted everyone to know what made me special, just what my troubles had been with Mormonism, etc. Some would vaguely call it an "atrocity story".
They come in many forms.

I wrote to what was then FARMS to express my disapproval over something and a Dr. Peterson took the time to write me a letter. That encouraged me to investigate the anti world a bit more and it was only then that I became aware of the bigger picture. It does not matter what we say or do, it will be taken and used against us. We now have a message board dedicated to mocking everything we say on this message board. The expectation is that the vilification will silence us. It isn't working too well, obviously. If we are seen as too devoted they make fun of us for being mindless robots, if we make fun of ourselves, they will make fun of us for not being mindless robots. It doesn't get much more complicated than that.
