Time for me to make like a baby and head out. I don't know if I'll be back, but the rancor and cheap shots reached their nadir tonight, and for expressing my disgust, I was told I'm a hypocrite with a double standard. Sorry, but when a person's death becomes an occasion for scoring rhetorical points, we've lost all pretense of the moral high ground.

May I just say that, as much as I don't like the profanity and name calling on either side of the debate, it pales in insignificance to the cheapening of human life I saw here tonight.

I've been out. Just catching up on the threads.

Yeah things came to a head tonight. They do from time to time I guess. Sorry to hear you're taking a hiatus. Personally I think you're a model of civility and come across as a great guy. Drop back in and say how things are going from time to time. Good luck with the family and life in general.

Runtu, what happened? I always like your posts and would hate to see you leave. Your sensitivity and conscientiousness add something to this forum.

Is there anyway you could just rise above the fray and remain serene, yet present?

I, for one, am glad you have decided to stick around. Sorry I wasn't on the board last night to monitor this better. I think we have things resolved in an appropriate manner now.

I was just in a bad mood last night, and Coggins pushed one too many buttons, I guess. Besides, this is the only place where I'm allowed to hang out. LOL
