Latinos in the US and the LDS Church

The Pew Hispanic Center did a poll of Hispanics in the US asking specifically about religious affiliation, and the results aren't particularly good for LDS Inc. The link to the complete survey follows here.

67.6% of those surveyed called themselves Catholic; 19.6% some sort of Protestant denomination; 1.9% Jehovah's Witness; and .7% Mormon.

The church is being beaten by the hated "Jay-Dubs" who have nearly three times as many members.

Only about a third of Latinos (32%) say they hold favorable views of Mormons, with an equal number (33%) expressing unfavorable views.
