I was looking for something and found an odd connection to My being banned for some reason
I was said to have been all over the map and they should boot me for being unpredictable.

I am not sure why this wasn't take between him and I PRIVATELY. I Guess his name is runt. In reality, I am an exmormon. I don't represent the views of the Mormon church, but I do support the church. My website says as much ABOUT THAT go to yahoo and look up returning to Mormonism.

I think outside the box and perhaps this runt guy is upset by that. I am also blunt, I am no more blunt than brigham Young or any one else.

I love the church and I plan to one day rejoin it. What I need is the love of the members in general. Perhaps runt should walk a step or two in my shoes. Excommunication isn't fun. But having a back staber causeing nonsence on any forum where my salvation is in question only delays my approach to the church.

He doesn't know it. But there was a comment made on the pbs special the other night that the church keeps track of people who are excommunicates and write for or against the church. I didn't believe this until I saw his comment.

RUNT the church is true whether i am true to it or not.

Welcome to the board Brian. There is a poster here named Runtu and he is a really nice guy. Runtu is a fellow who can also think outside the box. Perhaps you will meet going around the corner of the box. If you bump heads, that is only because you were both going in differing directions.

Oh gaaawwwd, another one.

Who left the chapel door open?

Brian, if you love the silly cult so much then please entertain us all by explaining why are you here?

You claim to be an ex'd member? For what?

by the way, making illogical boolean statements about an ambiguous noun speaks volumes about your credibility.

Brian, I think Runtu said you were "likely to be banned" for your unpredictable posts. Not that you "should be banned."

Catch me up, I have been away from MDB for a spell.

Banned from MDB? or MAAD?

His first post as brian was very telling. Is he related to Gaz?

Hey Brian...kick back, have a drink, relax, take some xanax. Don't take things so seriously. Peace, man.

Brian - I think you misread the post you're referring to. The entire thread was a light hearted discussion of who the mods at MAD would likely ban next (during their periodic purges of critics), and Runtu was merely putting in his two cents based on the activity at the time, and trying to predict what the supposed reason would be. He was not advocating that any poster should be banned, nor does he have any influence in that area.

I know Runtu can defend himself, but I'd like to think we look after each other a bit here, so I wanted to speak up for him.

ps - Minofyre hasn't been banned from MAD as far as I can tell, so I'm not sure how the bee got in your bonnet.

Here's the post by Runtu:

I think a Magic 8 ball would help.

I'm guessing it has to do with people who irritate them, for whatever reason. It's clear that posting anything critical here irritates them, so that would be a start. As for the people mentioned, here's my take:

Mormonthinker: Would not surprise me.

Minofyre: This person's posts have been all over the map. I think they might ban him/her just because of the unpredictability.

Asuram: I'm still waiting for someone to fess up on this one. Has to be a sockpuppet. Of course, in the beginning, I thought Hammer and charity were trolls/sockpuppets.

Selek: I don't see him getting banned, for some reason. Way too dogmatic for me.

The Dude and Sethbag: I think they'd have to be crazy to ban either one.

Sometimesaint: heshe's too benign to be banned.

Jaybear and MightyCurelom: Back when I was a TBM on there, I was sure MC was going to get banned any second. Never happened. Jaybear gets people angry. I could see him or Tarski getting the axe.

As you can see...runtu is only commenting on a thread of people who possibly could be banned (and he gives his reason why he thinks various people could be banned). As to minofyre's posting style...I'm not familiar with it so I won't comment.
