Heh - maybe the DCP that appeared on KG's board wasn't really DCP. And maybe it's the same impersonator that has shown up here?

It's him. Otherwise, he would have complained on MAD about it by now. Shades did have the decency to remove the fake Gee posts, and I'd imagine he'd do the same for DCP if it's not really him.

I've been withholding final conclusion on whether it's really DCP or not who's posting here today under his name as I quite clearly remember him saying something like he only posts on one board and besides hell would freeze over before he'd ever post here in the cesspool (blatant paraphrase). Even if he is tired of being "misrepresented", my first and best guess is that he'd talk about it at MAD and wouldn't join the fray here.

However, I am very often wrong and this could be no exception.

For the record, I do especially dislike being misrepresented myself so on that point I understand where a person is coming from who seeks to set the record straight. The only way to do that definitively though is to clearly show demonstrable facts and/or have people take you at your word. Not always easy or possible. So we go round in circles. Even if hell freezes. :)

I think it's the real DCP. The very short, terse posts here I think are pretty typical of one of his conversational tactics, which is to deny that someone's comment about DCP's beliefs are correct, but offer no explanation at all by way of correction. The other posts on this board from famous names are too obviously parody in nature - these ones by DCP are straight down to business, with no obvious parody at all.
