If its uncertain who will get Faust's seat on the board, lets start a pool.

Who will advance?

Better stock options? Unlimited per diem? The penthouse suite?

I think President Hinckley knows of the wisdom of having a younger and energetic member of the First Presidency. Elders Uchdorf or Bednar come to mind. Elder Uchdorf is not a bureaucrat but he does seem to have an amiable temperment and a kind disposition.

My guess would be younger but not that young. I'd guess Holland or Eyring.

Yeah, I bet it won't be BKP, because I think he's having too much fun leading the Q12. My bet is for Russell Nelson, personally. He's old, kind of mild like Faust was, and very senior in the Q12.

I don't have any specific bets, other than to say I think it will be someone appreciably younger. They need someone to run things when they get too addled from old age, without having to create some new job (remember when Hinkley was "assistant" to the presidency, or some such? obviously they did that because the first presidency were all too old and addled to function)

I assume they both kinder and gentler than Elder Packer. Which is more so out of these two?

I thought the guy who's been an apostle longest automatically gets it.
