For Wade: What Happened to Your Websites?

Dear Wade,

It's so great to see you around on the board again. I just had a question: what happened to your utterly one-of-a-kind websites, such as your "Anti-Bigotry Initiative," or your "Center for the Study for Same-Sex Attraction Disorders"? Just curious....

I am genuinely curious, too! I wonder, would it help if I said I was seriously and personally offended by his continuous ignoring of me?

I think a more important question, Mr. Scratch, given Wade's involvement on the "offended" thread, is the ratio between visitors to his sites who were uplifted and those who were offended. For instance, for every homosexual who found hope in Wade's diatribe against rubbing keys together, how many took offense at Wade's suggestion that they share something important in common with pedophiles and necrophiliacs?

The ISP where I housed my website for years has recently gone defunct. And, my business partner has been begging me for some time to remove the material. Since my apologetic website no longer serves my current purposes, I have decided to grant his wish and not repost the material elsewhere on the net.

I doubt that will give much pause, at least any time soon, to those intent on persistently disparaging me with their flaggrant misunderstandings of my site--not that it bothers me much.

I hope this helps.

Thanks, -Wade Englund-

Why? Was it bad for business?

I'm surprised your business partner wasn't just as uplifted by your material as everyone else was.

I would imagine the gay customers were not amused..

edit..
Or is your partner gay?

And what purpose did your "pray the gay away" site serve? My guess is that you used it to pick up strays.

I'm also guessing his partner may have been worried that people were assuming he was part of the "We" Wade always referenced in his website, trying to make himself look like one of a group, whereas the reality was he was only ever one of one - Wade.

Since my business partner's sentiments are of interest to a few of you, let me just say that his concern was due to some threats of bodily harm I had received in connection with my site (the LDS apologetic portion rather than the CSSAD), and while I didn't give the threat much mind, and tried to allay his fears, he was concerned about the potential of my site irrationally aggitating other wacko's (his term, not mine), who may chance compromising our business in some unspoken way. In other words, his objection wasn't because he had a low opinion of my site, but because he had a low opinion of those who tend to react negatively to my site. ;-)

But, as mentioned earlier, I doubt this bit of reality will give pause for some of you in maligning my character in relation to my site. The flow of bile will invariably continue.

Thanks, -Wade Englund-
