I thought this was pretty funny. What was really funny was when the one companion said to the other that maybe getting a flat tire was the Lord telling him he shouldn't have bought such an ostentatious bike. The other guy says "it's red", and the first guy says "exactly." When I was in the MTC I had this one tie I wore sometimes that was a knit tie, that was red with some black threads mixed in. It had a flat bottom instead of a V shaped bottom, since it was knit. I actually had one of my MTC teachers pull me aside one day and tell me that someone in the district had complained that my tie wasn't conservative enough, and I was asked not to wear it anymore in the MTC. I thought it was the stupidest thing, but I didn't wear it in the MTC anymore. But that became my "mission tie", and I wore it probably 80% of the time during the whole rest of my mission.
