LDS Area Leadership - new assignments.

The First Presidency has announced changes in the Church's area leadership assignments effective Aug. 1.

All members of area presidencies are General Authority Seventies.

Members of the Presidency of the Seventy have responsibilities for the areas in North America.

The Church now has 15 areas outside North America and 10 areas inside North America for a total of 25.

No black men.
I wonder if that will change after Monson dies?

We simply invent new reasons, new justifications, new explanations. Sometimes we ignore the evidence altogether.” (Mathew Syed 'Black Box Thinking')

Why does it say in the corner, "Week of October 6, 2022?"

Blacks are particularly conspicuous by their absence in African areas.

This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

I noticed that my favorite non apostle GA, L. Whitney Clayton, is assigned to "Assist in All Areas". Is this a bone thrown to him for missing out on the last apostle pick or is he now just the Q15's designated Danite?

I knew several saints at BYU who were defenders of apartheid.
