Sheri Dew, Chief Content Officer for Deseret Management Corporation, talks about what went on behind the scenes of the iconic photo of the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles taken this week in Rome.
"This is an unprecedented moment," she said in a Church News video. "We know of no other time when the full First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve have been outside of the United States together, let alone at a temple dedication."
How fortunate she has a newly-elevated role that now takes her, all-expenses-paid, wherever Wendy Mr Nelson goes, also all-expenses-paid...
For reference, Sheri went all that way, at all that cost, just to produce a 93 second video.
Let's see if Sheri flies to Kinshasa to film behind the scenes when that one opens...

“When we are confronted with evidence that challenges our deeply held beliefs we are more likely to reframe the evidence than we are to alter our beliefs. We simply invent new reasons, new justifications, new explanations. Sometimes we ignore the evidence altogether.” (Mathew Syed 'Black Box Thinking')

She is the head of Deseret Book. Maybe checking out locations near the Temple for a new store location? Just imagine the great sales of Christus statues in Italy now that The Pope has one? Imagine the great sales of Books of Mormon now that the Pope has been exposed to True Prophets, Seers and Revelators?
Maybe she was checking out the area for church related stuff for Deseret Bookstores across the world to carry and sell as they expand near all the new Temples that are planned? Surely, that must be it.
It isn't like Sheri is a Nelson Groupie - is it?

In Care and Feeding of Your Concubine it says that they need fresh air occasionally.

Please, someone needs to find out the truth about Sheri, Wendy and Rusty, if there is anything to it. What a delicious story that would make if rumor were substantiated.

A book should be published of their true memoirs. They could call it "The Three Nephites" in Latter Days.

"3 Knee Fights In Latte Daze" is a great tabloid headline.

Wendy L. Watson and Sheri L. Dew have been “best friends” for well over a decade. In fact, in October, 2000, they bought a vacation home together in Heber Valley (where Monson and many of the Apostles have second or third homes). They were granted a warranty deed as “Wendy L. Watson, an unmarried person and Sheri L. Dew, an unmarried person, joint tenants tenants” and later, in 2002, refinanced it together for $245,800, paying it off in 2007 and rearranging the ownership until at present they are both still listed together.
There's more and it's kind of odd...but who knows?
