Sic et Non vs Kamala Harris

One argument being held in reserve is Senator Harris not being sufficiently pure and delightsome, but we have heard how she does not support the Constitution. Additionally not being a US Citizen, and Dr. Peterson points out that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is too young to replace her.

His talent for apologetics does seem to extend to politics.

Kamala Harris is going to destroy Pence in the VP debate, and Pence knows it. Pence made the national news with his trip to the Arizona Latter Day Saints for Trump event in Mesa. It was not a good look for Mormons, or for organized religion in general. Like Trump, when Pence opens his mouth in public, what comes out are mostly lies.

Mormons should realize that, like the Trump toadie Pence, those who support Trump are showing themselves, fundamentally, to be of the same moral character as Trump himself. DCP is clearly among them.

The term for that is conservative. If a person isn't libertarian on social issues, they aren't libertarian. Limiting government spending but wanting government/society to dictate how people live their private lives is missing the entire point. Claiming to be libertarian but believing that is just ignorant.

In the article starting this thread Mr Peterson states that he does not support Trump. In comments he suggests Trump release his tax returns.

DCP exhibits Trump's narcissistic personality traits and has made a number of bigoted and racially tone deaf posts on Sic et Non and elsewhere. DCP is willing to "lie for the Lord", and has been caught in lies about other things such as his activities as an author (on sabbatical to write two books), and sources of income (not paid as an apologist).

However, a check back in the Sic et Non archives, specifically on December 20, 2018 (link below), turned up DCP's statement that he did not vote for Trump, even though DCP claims to be a lifelong Republican.

So, although DCP shares many characteristics with The Donald, including bigotry, narcissism, and an often poor relationship with the truth, he does not appear to be, or to have been, a Trump supporter, even in the early days of the Trump administration.

My apologies to DCP for earlier comment in case he happens to view this thread.
