Is this our Dan McClellan?

I remember him as a decent guy, faithful LDS. I don't remember him as a Democrat, though, so perhaps it's another person altogether.

How are elections in Utah now? Still mostly Repos, except in perhaps Rose Park and around the UofU campus? That's how it was when I lived there until I moved out in the late 90's. This Dan McClellan seems fine, although will he cower to the LDS lobbyists like they all do?

Even for a bloke who lines up squarely behind the Church on matters of sexuality?

I wonder if Dan McClellan lacked the requisite horns and pitchfork to run as a regular Utah Republican?
