I don't think either Sandra or Jerald ever hated anybody. At least I haven't seen any evidence that they did. Evidence of that kind of hatred would be, oh, I don't know, maybe somebody saying that somebody must be gay when it has nothing whatsoever to do with the conversation. You know, something like that.

Jerald was, Sandra wasn't.
It's actually the opposite. The Salamander Letter was so similar to the Willard Chase affidavit found in Mormonism Unvailed that Jerald strongly suspected that the former was based on the latter.
