This would not only make for an excellent T-shirt design, but it would also make a suitable replacement mascot for the Running Utes.
I had a friend who went to this today and said he enjoyed it, even though he could not identify all the anime costumes.

He’s better than me: I can’t identify ANY of the anime costumes.
