A very old American tradition is Anti-Mormonism, the promulgation of a portrait of Mormonism that seeks to stoke hatred and fear regarding Mormonism and sometimes Mormons themselves. Anti-Mormonism is as old as Mormonism, as some of the earliest converts to Mormonism left and fought the new movement. In this episode I discuss my experience with anti-Mormonism and my views about the problem of ministries that attack other religions.

Obviously prompted by our recent arguments. Here I get into more detail on the topic of why anti-Mormonism and other so-called anti-cult ministries bother me.

Actually I normally would not, but when you take what we write about here and rant about it I am not sure if I can resist, it is like driving by accident on the freeway, you sit in traffic or an hour and it is almost impossible to look when you finally pass it. by the way I have only watched parts of two, your first one and the last one where you whined about me. It should be rather funny.

Kish, honestly, I have been open and honest in conversation with you, and I am honestly trying to understand your ideology, but it is like pulling teeth to get a straight answer from you....you just play the victim and call peoples names that disagree with you or press you for an answer, an dnow call them out in your casual chats. .

Why on earth can't you state whether you believe Joseph Smith is a true prophet or not....is beyond me.

No, Markk. I interact with people here and various thoughts percolate. I go make a video while those thoughts percolate. The videos are aimed at casual viewers who might be interested in a different, more neutral take on Mormonism. I say “chat” because the premise is that this is the other side of a casual conversation at a café. Hence the title of the channel. OK?

Why do you think I owe you some explanation of my ideology or personal views? Why is that important to you? Why should your demand be important to me? What will it change here?

This YouTube channel takes a neutral position on purpose. You come at me over the channel as though I needed to make it to your specifications. I really don’t. And given the nature of the channel, your questions about my personal beliefs have no bearing on it.

Who has time to answer questions when I have to field all of this baffling and bizarre hostility? I never promised to answer all of your questions. If we can ever bring this around to a civil discussion, I will answer some of your questions, but, the thing is, I don’t put much stock in religious beliefs, as I have said many times here. As soon as I hear “we believe X,” my eyes glaze over.

So far Kish you apparently have limited information about the current view of Mormonism. You are living in Chick track , god makers world view. We all know of all this. Pick up the speed. Richard Packham penetrated Mormonism years ago using much more varied descriptive terms. And yes you are coffee with Kish but man whatever audience you are targeting I am at a loss.
