Despite many complaints about DiscussMormonism.com being a "Peterson Obsession Board," it seems that the Terrestrial Forum has been very quiet lately. The last threads dealing with anything DCP-related are, what, like two weeks old? But that scarcely seems to matter: the real obsessive has always been the Afore himself, as evidence by some of his recent comments. It turns out that, even the tropical island paradise of Maui isn't enough to deter him from his usual toxic behavior. Rather than enjoying the food and the scenery, he is instead somehow finding time to engage not only in his usual useless blogging (replete with lazy copy-and-paste entries), but also to engage in vindictive and cheap-shot-laden exchanges with noel, such as this:

A "morose inebriate at a bar"? That hardly seems charitable: in fact, it's the kind of typical bullying insult that has been the hallmark of Peterson's online personality for decades. And is he (of all people) really in a position to complain about "repetitive obsessions"? Uh, let's see: How many times in the last month has "SeN" dealt with: 1) The Witnesses; 2) Near-Death Experiences; 3) Traveling and Eating; 4) The Interpreter Foundation; 5) The "Hitchens File." In fact, didn't someone--Billy Shears, perhaps--post a word cloud showing, as visual proof, just how obsessive and repetitive the Afore is?

But attacking Noel didn't seem to be enough. I guess the lushly warm ocean breezes of Maui were not enough to dowse the Mopologist Overlord's penchant for insult, because look at how he goes after Shulem:

(The same one where he mocked the Jewish wedding ceremony?) You will have to be the judge of that. But it seems quite remarkable that even vacationing seems to inspire rotten behavior in him.

I completely forgot about that very disturbing incident when the Afore inflicted abuse and physical pain on a cat. He clearly delighted and basked in the joy the distress and harm he caused that poor animal. What a great guy.

The sheer number of the Afore’s unethical acts, misogyny, lies, plagiarism and foolishness is just mind boggling. What a legacy!

It’s hard to imagine being in a place so beautiful and writing such ugly things. That’s not what most happy people do, in my experience.

I, for one, have really enjoyed the forum taking a break from him.

It’s been a breath of fresh air, hasn’t it? The sun rises and sets. The Earth turns. People live their lives. And the Afore keeps slinging insults and trying to prove to everyone that he has personally profited and succeeded thanks to his connection to Mormonism. And notice that I said his “connection” to Mormonism and not his “devotion” to Mormonism, because he is among the worst representatives of the good that the Church can do. He has been flogging all kinds of stupid and alarmist articles about the supposed harm that American Primeval has been doing. Instead, he ought to be celebrating the fact that hardly anyone looks at his crap, since he is such a terrible representative of decent LDS behavior. He ought to just walk away and quit blogging: exit stage left.

I truly hope the Afore can find another cat/dog (or even a dolphin) to torture while he’s in Hawaii. That seems like one of the only sure-fire ways to make him happy,

In a sense it’s understandable: he doesn’t have a single “real” friend. Every last important person in his life would throw him away if he dared to turn away from the Church. So, it’s little wonder that he’s constantly trashing others in order to make himself feel like less of a human malignancy.

Proverbs 15:17 Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a fatted calf with hatred…

I do hope someday he learns how to put the phone down and enjoy the view.

Peterson is entitled to his opinion and may say whatever the hell he wants about me.

I really don't care.

I love my life.

I don’t think that Peterson increasingly engaging in unfounded tabloid slander about posters on this board is coincidental of this board going quiet on threads involving him.

When the attention stops his behaviour escalates until the attention starts again. And then he complains about the attention. Rinse, repeat.
