This was a very interesting video about a former SCMC employee's experiences working in the COB's highly secretive department.

The biggest surprise (and at this point I don't know why I'm surprised anymore) was the allegation that the church hires law enforcement to infiltrate wards with well-known dissidents to gather damning information.

This was a very good episode. The trauma received second hand from having to read all those reports about child abuse and marital abuse hit home considering it sounds like they got no grief training in place not to mention then having to lie to bishops asking for help. That stuff stacks on on everyone if they have to deal with it day in day out.

Kate was very careful but I wonder if she may have violated her NDA that she signed. She didn't give names but I would think the NDA would have something regarding disclosure of procedural information. Things like the annotation of member records for things like homosexuality, adultery and others. I wonder if there will be a take down order for that episode.

Interestingly, RFM still has his membership and Bill Reel does not. Their positions and messages to the public seem to be similar.

Kate was very scrupulous in not mentioning the gas ovens or the Deathstar. Neither Bill nor RFM asked any questions about the Kolobian invasion fleet honing in on Earth via the Temple Spire broadcasts. As President Nelson said, "Build the spires, and they will come."

It was a marvelous episode! I highly recommend it. It reveals some of the inner workings of the disciplinary process. Leaders whose names appear on disciplinary letters they don’t even know the existence of yet, and so forth.

Not surprising, yes. But it’s so important that people tell these stories. It’s more data for folks to consider in joining/staying in Mormonism.
