We all know that Mormons love Trump and overwhelmingly voted for him in the last 3 elections. Well Maga Mormons, sit down because I have a real treat for you.
For the last few months, famous Mormon artist Jon McNaughton has been promising to unveil a new masterpiece. For a long time, he toiled and labored for inspiration, which he finally received from the Spirit after much fasting and prayer.
Folks, without further ado, I bring you "The Secret Service."

Justice Angel has at least 34 reasons to be there, but Truth Angel is trying to figure what the hell he did to deserve this.

I'll laugh if the artist gets exiled to a foreign prison for truthfully portraying the bad posture of his savior.

The human in the suit in the painting looks more like James Austin Johnson of SNL playing Trump in comedy skits than it looks like Trump.

Jon is portraying his love of Trump and all things conservative. It would make sense that he would see Trump tied into religion, as many MAGAs and Mormons see Trump as the Messiah.
To some, that makes his artwork objects of veneration, and many hang copies on their walls next to Joseph Smith and Russell M. Nelson.
Others view his work as creepy schlock, which symbolizes political propaganda at its worst.

Stuff like this is why I insisted my spouse stop telling people I was raised Mormon. The looks I would get ranged from profound pity to complete shock.
It reminds me of the time my niece was graduating, and my hard-core TBM sibling came to town for the celebration. He got to the restaurant a little before us, but it was still enough time for him to completely frustrate and irritate our server with his obnoxious Mormon-ness. When I came in, I told the server he was my brother, and, I kid you not, the server murmured "my condolences."
I made sure he got a very generous tip.

This is a malignant falsehood. It is natural that the color in the painting are narrow dark dirty and blue.
Is it TDS that causes me to dislike the color? One could be nice and say the colors could be better. Maybe if he opened eyes he would see more. Oops nice might slip away. Maybe like Hound he is ignorant of what people not in his political subcult actually think.
But he is just a pawn in their game. He spreads propaganda created by people fully aware of the falsehoods. Falsehoods which if repeated often enough sound like they must be true because everybody knows its that way. (everybody the pawn hears)

Do you suppose the Saints, in fevered dreams, see the Three Nephites watching over Trump right before he sends out his very late-night tweets? Maybe this is a Mormon archetype?
