Peterson, Priestcraft, Profits and the Paranormal
Folks, you really can't make this stuff up.
Over at a largely plagiarized blog, where the Afore holds court with his small claque of crazies, the subject is remote viewing. The Afore even posts a link to his friend, Paul's remote viewing courses. https://rviewer.com/register-for-a-course/
For the low price of $12,000.00, you too can take the 3 remote viewing courses from the Afore's friend. What a bargain! I don't know about you, but I'm signing up right away. If it's good enough for the Afore to advertise, then it's good enough for me.
I always try to support the Afore's causes. For years, I donated to Tim Ballard's organization due to the Afore publicly pleading for donations. I have no regrets, just like I will have no regrets forking over $12,000.00 to the Afore's friend.

Well the Afore is a proven water douser, so I’m inclined to take his advice. I’ve been wanting to buy a new car for the wife. But now I think I’ll spend the money on this instead!

That will be money well spent. With your new remote viewing abilities, just think of all the buried treasure you'll be able to find. Your wife will love you for it.

Before you think he is a crackpot........you can do it yourself! This post has to be bait. Someone is kicking back and waiting for the fun. And Mike has to be a troll, I mean asking if dowsing really works?

DCP just said it would be useless for practical purposes. Which is great for him, he just needs it to crack the door open to a magic worldview. Remember a Mormon God has to remain hidden to lure as many spirits as possible into outer darkness.Everybody Wang Chung wrote: ↑Wed Aug 06, 2025 11:21 pmThat will be money well spent. An unseen target such as Doctor Scratch? It’s a basic tutorial on, well, remote viewing — which is the alleged ability to perceive information about a distant or unseen target without relying on conventional sensory input but using only the mind

Peterson et al. cannot dismiss the paranormal, no matter how crazy it may sound. Viewing the TSCC doctrine and history through the lens of the magic worldview is the only way it can even begin to make sense. The alternative would be logic and reason, and that never ends well for the church.

In the comments Peterson is asked…
To quote Wikipedia on the subject of ‘remote viewing’
He has not yet answered the question.Out of curiosity, Dr. Peterson, have you ever tried the methods described?

It’s just more make-believe. Why does a seemingly educated man get drawn in by such nonsense? There is no scientific evidence that remote viewing exists, and the topic of remote viewing is generally regarded as pseudoscience.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

You have to believe in a spiritual realm where disembodied intelligences communicate across the eons of time to places like Lake Wobegon to fully accept Mormonism. That allows for things like dowsing and ESP but heaven forbid we cross the line and accept voodoo, crytozoology or scientology. Granted Rodney Meldrum's brother studies Bigfoot and is a professor and other Mormons visit psychics proving that once your baloney detector has a short circuit magical thinking is ready and waiting.I Have Questions wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 6:47 amIn the comments Peterson is asked…He has not yet answered the question.Out of curiosity, Dr. Peterson, have you ever tried the methods described?
